Deweaponizing the gun

Walton Creel is an artist; however his tools are not typical.  This artist creates beautiful pieces on an aluminum canvas, by using a gun.  His choice to use guns as his utensil stemmed from other artist who have used high speed film to capture a bullet going through an item or others who have melted and bent guns into sculptures.  Creels approach however uses the gun as an instrument to create art, instead of turning the gun itself into a design.

While Creel does want to create beautiful pieces of art, his true intention is to take the destructive power away from the gun.  He did this by using the gun as a tool of creation, which obviously not the original intention.  I really like the idea of using something doomed to be destructive and turning it into something much more appealing.  Good job Walton Creel.
